I travel to your home or office within a 15 mile radius of Charlottesville with no fee...(I will travel beyond 15 miles, but do charge for the travel time beyond 15 miles at my labor rate).  Most work can be performed on-site.  If it necessary to remove your PC, I will do so, perform the work in-shop and return the PC to you at no extra charge.

Hardware

I do hardware repair, upgrades, and maintenance on all desktop PCs - any brand name or clone.  I do a limited amount of hardware repair on laptops, and do not perform hardware repair on printers or monitors (although I would be happy to give you a reference).

Software

I troubleshoot all software issues (Windows or software applications) on all platforms (desktop, laptop).  I do not service Apple computers (although I would be happy to give you a reference).

Operating System and General Troubleshooting

I troubleshoot problems with all versions of Windows, software applications, and peripheral devices.

I can help you rid your PC of viruses, and show you how to keep it clean in the future.

Once you've gotten a high speed connection, you may want to share it with other computers in your home or office.  I can help you setup a small office or home network, where you can share your internet connection, files and printers.

Repair

I used to do a lot of repair in my business.  These days folks tend to just replace the faulty component (it's often more cost effective).  I still do repair when it is cost effective.

Maintenance

I can assist you with setting up a good maintenance schedule for your computer.  A little maintenance goes a long way.
